I received the very sad news today that my mom and Erik had to put our dog Nila Rose to sleep. She had been in failing health for awhile and they found that she had liver cancer. Nila was the most adorable rottweiler... she would bounce up and down on her front legs when she saw you... wiggle her butt and be silly. She will be greatly missed... Now she can jump up and down and not feel any pain. I'm happy that I got to hug her and scratch her nose one more time before I left.
