I'm teaching myself how to embroider.
Why am I doing this? I'm not sure exactly. I think I needed an idle hands project and this seem to be fun. No, I'm not going to cross stitch a portrait of a kitten sitting in a basket (I'm not 80 after all!). Maybe something along the lines of this...

I was taught to embroider when I was a kid.. and it's stuck with me, its a fun thing to do once in a while! But yep, skip kittens in baskets... ;)
