All's Well That Ends Well

As winter was slowing leaving us, Ian kept saying that he thought something was really wrong with our tree in the backyard. It's called a Shademaster Locust and it was looking pretty bad. It's a really big tree but only the top half of the branches had come back to life. It took a few weeks for me to admit it.

I called our landscaper, Heritage Stoneworks, and let them know we might have a problem. They agreed that the tree was probably dead or dying and they would replace it. I watched the new one "fly" into our backyard and eventually it was planted. It's not as tall or as wide as our old one... but it's clearly more alive. We'll see how this one does!
