October Virginia Trip

THIS POST ISN'T LATE AT ALL. :P I just was busy. Yeah, that's it. Busy. You know.. baby and all. Alright, let's get to it. Click on Read More to see a very picture heavy post. :P

Babies make travel so much fun! Ian expertly packed the Edge FULL.

Emma was so good during this trip. Here she is with a makeshift bib at The Cheesecake Factory in Buffalo, NY.

Once we got to the hotel, we got a cart and hauled only the essentials up to our room. Emma was included.

I think after all that time in her car seat she was ready to stretch out in her pjs. Not go to sleep of course.. just stretch out. :)

We headed to one of our favorite American breakfast places... Perkins. Ian had the most delicious pumpkin pancakes.

We were really surprised by how good of car rider Emma was. She slept, ate, played a bit, and slept some more. Here she is taking a cat nap.

Just kidding!

Crossing over the Potomac River.

Emma discovered her love of balloons thanks to her Aunt and cousins.

We hung out on the sun porch and watched football before Emma's bedtime. She seemed super sleepy..................

The next day, she tried out Aunt Kam's new farm sink (uninstalled)...

...and hung out with G-Ma!

My sister treated us to the Washington vs. Seattle game! WOOOOO!

#GOHAWKS

Really good seats! Except I was surrounded by Washington fans... go figure. :P

The next day, Emma was her usual silly self.

Hanging out with Aunt Kam on our last day!

Still a really good car rider on the way home.

We did diaper changes on the fold flat front passenger seat. Good chubby bubbe. :)

Chewing on the chew stick Aunt Kam gave her.

On the way back, we stopped again at The Cheesecake Factory. They really need to come to Kitchener. Just sayin'...

Look at that face!

It was a fantastic trip... I'm glad I finally got to post some pictures about it... as G-Ma arrives tomorrow and the Petty Crew lands late Friday or early Saturday. YAY!
