We're Not Doing This...

I was thinking about walking in to a Plain White T's song but jeez... this blows that idea right out of the water. No Ian, we're not doing this. I don't care how much alcohol you would drink and how fun it would be. =P

Cadillac Ranch

On the trip across the US we stopped at a place called the Cadillac Ranch. It's a small section of farmland in Texas that has 10 Cadillacs buried vertical in the dirt. It's a very popular spot to stop and write your name or a message with spray paint on a car. Ian and I stopped and found an almost empty paint can. We managed to write "Brittany Ian 08'" with a heart on one of the cars.

It was VERY cold.

Erik went to the ranch on his way back from a rocket launch recently. Most of our writing is gone... you can kind of see some yellow from our writing.

He wrote over our section. Needless to say, he was a little more prepared than us... The ranch has such a high turnover of vistors that it's not really surprising ours is gone. Erik painted his, walked up and down the row to look at other cars and during that time someone painted over his fresh paint!

Thank You For Your Reservation

No - thank ***YOU***!!! Just booked our honeymoon! One whole week at the Edgewater Hotel in Seattle, Washington. Can't wait!

Summer Cleaning

I decided to do some midsummer cleaning and changed the site design. I'm working on a banner... below is a little preview. Ian and I picked out this background. I think it fits us.

Update - Mission: Game Over

I had a historic We Cheer session last night. I beat my nemesis song "Perfect Day" by Hoku. I never want to hear that song again! I've made pretty good progress... knocked out a few normal modes and got down some hard modes that have been troubling me. It's a good start I think.

My Love For...

Pixar Short Films

Ian and I went to see UP and fell in love with the Pixar Short Film that is shown before the movie. It's called "Partly Cloudy". So adorable. If Pixar releases a Dvd of just their short films I would buy it in a heartbeat. They put so much effort into these little five minute mini-movies. I've linked a bunch of my favorites. I don't think this is all of them... The last one I found while searching for Partly Cloudy. Pretty funny. =)

Boo! They disabled embedding for this first video... so here is an ugly link for you to click.... Partly Cloudy.

Boom Boom Pow! Cooper Walks!

I Want Little Sox On My Hat

Ian and I went to our first Boston Red Sox game this afternoon. Unfortunately they lost but it was a lot of fun. Perfect weather... the dome was open and just a little bit of sun peaking through the clouds.

In preparation for the game we got matching Red Sox hats... Ian used to have one but it's probably too big on him now. They didn't have an adjustable version of the hat that has 2 little red socks on it. Boo.

Side view of Rogers Center...

I really should have taken more pictures of the field but we were just so excited to be there I forgot... This is Varitek and Ellsbury warming up.

One of my favorite Red Sox players - Jacoby Ellsbury up to bat.

This is us waiting in the car for more than an hour to get out of the parking garage. The smiles are a lie.

And yes... I'm mildly stupid.
